Christian Americanism

Christian Americanism places emphasis upon the greatness of
America's heritage

And the sacrifices of her heroes. We unashamedly teach the Biblical doctrines of

Self-discipline, respect for those in authority, obedience to law, and love for God,

Flag and country. We, therefore, require all students to pledge their allegiance to

The American Flag, the Christian Flag, and to the Holy Bible.

Statement of Faith

1.     We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible authoritative Word of

God, and that He has preserved it for the English-speaking world in the

Authorized King James Version.  Therefore, only the KJV is used at BHCA.

2.     We believe that there is one God, the source, support and end of all things,

Eternally existent in the persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

3.     We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His

Sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily

Resurrection, in His ascension to the Father’s right hand, and in His personal,

Premillennial return for His saints, and with His saints at the Revelation.

4.     We believe that man is totally depraved, a sinner both by nature and practice,

Therefore, estranged from God, totally lost and in need of the convicting and

Regenerating ministry of the Holy Spirit (a born again experience).

5.     We believe in the personality of Satan, in his power and kingdom, in his wiles,

In his judgement at the cross, and his eternal destruction in hell.

6.     We believe in the deity and present ministry of the Holy Spirit, that He

Convicts the sinner, regenerates the one who believes, indwells, seals, instructs,

Reproves and guides the believer; that He fills and controls every life that is

      Wholly yielded to Him.

7.     We believe that salvation is the free gift of God offered to man by grace and

Received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

8.     We believe in the bodily resurrection of the saved unto “LIFE” and the unsaved

Unto “judgement” and everlasting damnation.  We believe in a literal heaven

      And a literal hell.

9.     We believe that God created male and female to marry in that order, and not

      Same sex marriages.

10.  We believe that abortion is murder and is wrong in God’s eyes.

11. We believe it is not Biblical for lawsuits to be between believers.

Uniform Dress Code

Schools all over the country are catching on to what BHCA has known and

Practiced for the past twenty nine years.  Uniform Dress Code.

While 1 Samuel 16:7 states that “…man looketh on the outward appearance, but

The Lord looketh on the heart,” man DOES look on the outward appearance and

Makes certain judgments.  1 Timothy 2:9 states: “in like manner also, that women

Adorn themselves in modest apparel…” God is concerned about how we appear to

Others.  He desires Godly Character to be shown.  The Uniform Dress Code helps

BHCA focus on internal character rather that on external dress.

A Uniform Dress Code promotes better behavior, eliminates competition in

Dress, and contributes to higher academic achievement.  It also fosters an improved

Self image builds character and simplifies daily clothing decisions.  With these

Benefits in mind BHCA sets forth the following Uniform Dress Code.  With

Exception of colors for specific days these standards apply to ALL school activities

Whether on or off school premises, and apply to all staff whether paid or volunteer.

Conservative and simple.  Absolutely no body piercing or necklaces should be

Wore.

Shirts and Pants: Pants may be of any material, including denim, and of either

Black or khaki color with the appropriate color for the day of the week.  Pants
